How it works...We use a point system to make sure that our AF is distributed fairly, letting those who participate more be well rewarded but still give newer members and reasonable chance. One point is awarded for every dynamis you attend (or .5 points for less than 50% of the run, in most zones this is 1h 45min), until you spend them on a piece of AF or gil reward(See below). Points are only spent if you get the AF you're bidding on, it does not cost points if it doesn't drop. Saturday and Tuesday points are kept separate, as it would not be fair for those who can only attend one day a week to have them combined. Bidding AF is 70+ first, but if there are no 70+ bidding, 70- may spend their points on an AF. Every dynamis you attend you must put either an AF, gil, or that you are saving points in your /seacom. You cannot pick more then one and lot whichever drops. Only ONE item (or none) is chosen before we enter dynamis for each person. New members cannot bid their first run. This is to prevent people from getting AF coming to one run, and then not returning in the future. Just put ‘Save’ in /seacom for your first run, then the next run you attend you’ll be able to lot like everyone else! In dreamlands you'll have options of either regular AF, AF-1, or an accessory (cape or belt)! Pick one~ If you just put the job’s name without specifying -1 or accessory, it is assumed you’re referring to the regular NQ AF. Those bidding -1 pieces who have the NQ AF for the upgrade have priority for that AF's -1. Autotranslate it and put it in /seacom if you have it! All comments are recorded before we enter the dynamis. Whoever has the highest points of a specific job will be announced when the item drops and they win. If there is a tie in points, those people will lot against each other and only the winner will spend their points. Once you spend your points they go back to 0. If you accidentally lot something not rightfully yours, pass immediately. Should there be any confusion, please bring it to the attention of the leaders so it can be addressed before the AF drops. Anyone who refuses to pass when asked to by a leader will not be welcome back into another dynamis. If an AF drops and no one has it in /seacom, there will be an option to "Fair bid" on the item. In cities, you can spend 3 points to lot on the AF (70+ first, then 60+). All willing will lot, but only whoever wins the AF spends their 3 points. In NL and Tavnazia things works a bit differently. The minimum bid to win AF here is 3 points. If no one is bidding with 3 or more points, the AF will go fairbid for 5 points to 70+ members. If no one wants to fairbid, it is bidable with less then 3 points to 70+ members(with the AF commented in /seacom). Then fairbid 60+ for 5 points, then to bidders 70- for less then 3 points. If noone is lotting at 60+ fairbid, then 60- can fairbid for 2x the points(In cities that would be 6 points, in NL 10 points). If still none are biding, it will be free lot 70+ in that job for current members first, then if none need it, free lot for first time members (then 65+, 60+, ect...), and no points will be taken. IF YOU DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN YOUR COMMENT YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO LOT THAT RUN! Although you'll most likely get a /tell asking you to set your comment, it would make things a lot easier if you have it set when we gather an hour before we enter. If you don't want anything, just put 'Save' so I don't bug you. If you do not show up for dynamis 4 weeks in a row, you will be set to ‘On Break’ status. After 8 weeks without an absence notice, your name will be taken off the points list and your points will start at 0, when/if you choose to return. This isn't to be mean; I just don't want to have to keep updating a list full of names of people who aren’t coming back… If you plan to be away for an extended period of time, please post on the Absent Notice section of the forums, or let me know(/tell Nyphani) so I can save you're points for you. Members returning from a 4-7 week break will not be allowed to lot their first run back, until after current members biding and fairbids. For members away for over 8 weeks this lasts for the first 2 runs back after returning. Members who enter more then an hour late for the run will not be allowed to lot until after those who have participated the entire run. Sample /seacoms
Other Drops?All crafting materials are free lot. (Except wootz, see below) All relic weapons are free lot to those who can use them or plan to use them. Any EXP scrolls (dropping in NL or CoP dynamis zones), should be passed for BLMs, sleepers, tanks and pullers since they are the ones who die most in dynamis! They're not really that great (100ish EXP), but it still helps… All currency is passed to the sponsor. Wootz Ore!Wootz ores from Bastok and Beaucedine runs will be saved and bid off 1 at the end of every run. Bids for wootz will be done using points corresponding to the day of the run(tuesday points for a tuesday run, saturday for a saturday run, city in a city, nl for nl, ect.) Bids are done in ls chat starting at 1 point~ Bid as many or as little of your points as you want. Raven Bucks = Gil rewards?!You can bid (w/ /seacom) for Raven Bucks, just like bidding for AF! When a 100 drops, the highest member bidding RB will win a percentage of 500k equal to their attendance percentage(3 months). IE. If someone with 100% attendance wins, they would win 500k. Someone with 50% attendance would win 250k. It's a base of 500k regardless of what 100 type(Byne, Whiteshell, or Silverpiece) drops. Winners can collect their gil after the run so we don't have to take a break to do the math during dynamis.. o.o; !!WARNING!!If you pass on an AF you were announced to have won and someone else gets the AF, your place in line for that AF is switched with that person for the rest of that run, whether it is last, second, or whatever. It's not fair for the rest of the people in line for that AF if you "win" more then one. I don’t know how people manage to pass their own AF, but it’s happened before, so be careful. Bonus On-time/Farming pointsIn addition to the 1 point you get per dynamis run(if you’re there for over half the run), members will get an additional .5 bonus points for: - Being on time, in the zone, and in a party with /seacom set at least 10 minutes prior to enter time. - Staying for farming after the win up to the 10 minute exit warning. These bonus points are added after the run and do not affect bids for that day. Using multipul charactersIf you come to dynamis with a different character, you MUST put your main character's name(the name that is on the points list) in your /seacom in order to get points for that account. If you do not, you will be added as a new member with separate points. You cannot combine the points of multiple characters on different accounts. If you want your second character to have separate points, there are a few limitations. You may only gain points with one character per run and only bid, fairbid, and/or freelot for that character's jobs.
